Perspective Group and Photography Gallery Limited is a not-for-profit, community-oriented cooperative whose purpose is to promote fine art photography. In addition to monthly group and featured artists exhibitions, the gallery features a guest speaker lecture series and monthly artist talks. Perspective Gallery also hosts four annual exhibitions including: an international juried exhibition; a juried exhibition for Chicago-area photographers; a juried exhibition for Chicago-area high school students; and an invitational show.
The members of Perspective Group and Photography Gallery bring a rich blend of experience and focus to the gallery. Members’ work has been shown at galleries, colleges, libraries and in publications as well as in local, national and international juried shows. The artistic styles and techniques of its members include traditional film, digital, alternative processes, mixed media, collage and encaustic art.
Our Mission:
The mission of Perspective Group and Photography Gallery Limited, a 501(c)(3) organization, is to promote the art of photography to the public by way of exhibitions, lectures and outreach while fostering a dynamic and diverse community of photographers who share ideas, inspiration and knowledge of photography.

\r\nStephen Daiter is the executive director of Stephen Daiter Gallery. He has been a full-time dealer in photography and photography books since 1991. He has been a member of the Antiquarian Booksellers Association of America for over 25 years and a member of the Association of International Photography Arts Dealers (AIPAD) for 20 years.
\r\n
\r\nLucas Zenk been with the Stephen Daiter Gallery since 2006 and has served as the gallery director for the past five years. He attended the New England School of Photography in Boston. He was a cultural department intern at Magnum Photos in New York which introduced him to the commercial and gallery aspects of the medium.
\r\n
\r\nStephen Daiter Gallery offers fine and vintage examples of important classic American and European photography from the 20th century. Areas of specialization include the avant-garde, experimental, and documentary. The gallery has produced over 50 books and catalogs on photography. The gallery has also exhibited regularly at AIPAD, Art Basel, Paris Photo and Art/Expo Chicago.

\r\nPerspective Gallery is pleased to announce our seventh annual juried exhibition of photography, LENS 2017. Photographers are invited to submit work for possible inclusion in the exhibition. All subject matter and photographic processes are welcome.
\r\n
\r\nSUBMISSIONS
\r\nArtists are invited to submit up to five (5) photographic images in JPEG form. Images must have been created within the past five years. Artists should complete the entry form and upload their images at:http://perspectivegallery.slideroom.com

\r\nThe fee for submitting up to five (5) images is $40. The fee is non-refundable.

\r\nSALES
\r\nPerspective Gallery will receive a 40% commission on any artwork sold during the exhibition. Artists will receive 60% of the sales price of any work sold. Perspective Gallery is a not-for-profit photography gallery whose purpose is to promote photography as fine art. Perspective is located in Evanston, just north of Chicago.
\r\n
\r\nDELIVERY OF ACCEPTED WORK
\r\nAll accepted work must be framed in a professional manner with hanging wire (no sawtooth hangers).
\r\nWork must arrive by February 20th.
\r\n
\r\nSHIPPING ARTWORK
\r\nArtists shipping artwork must use UPS or FedEx, and include either an account number for return shipping or a prepaid return shipping bill.
\r\nPerspective Gallery will not be responsible for damage occurring during shipment to or from the gallery. Work must be framed using plexiglass, not glass. Work should be shipped in sturdy reusable containers, and packed using foam sheets or bubble wrap. Do not use packing peanuts. Shipping boxes must not exceed 60 inches in length. Work exceeding this size must be delivered and picked up in person. Insurance of artwork during transit to and from the gallery is the responsibility of the artist The gallery will insure all works against theft, damage, and destruction while they are at the gallery.
