21c Museum Hotel Chicago exhibits extraordinary art from world-renowned contemporary artists and presents curated exhibitions and site-specific installations that reflect the global nature of art today within a 297-room boutique hotel. Ongoing programming includes art activations, public tours, and Elevate at 21c which presents temporary exhibitions of works by artists living and working in the Chicago area. Elevate provides visitors with unique access to the work of notable regional artists, while featuring their work in the context of 21c’s contemporary art and event space.
21c Museum Hotel is North America’s first museum dedicated solely to collecting and exhibiting the art of the 21st century and open free of charge 24 hours daily. A multi-venue museum with over 75,000 square feet of exhibition space across eight locations founded by preservationists and contemporary art collectors Laura Lee Brown and Steve Wilson.

Inspired by the book by Grace Bonney, In the Company of Women explores the paths of over 100 creative female entrepreneurs, sharing their advice and tips for others looking to form a similar career path. Vagabond Art is recreating this experience by inviting both mid-career and high-profile female entrepreneurs working in the creative industry to mingle, exchange ideas, and form connections. This invitation extends beyond the art industry to include women and female-identifying individuals from fields such as visual merchandising, design, culinary arts, and more.
Vagabond Art is an events-based, community-driven curatorial initiative spearheaded by seasoned arts professional Camilla Mikolajewska. Deeply embedded in the creative community, both in Chicago and internationally, Vagabond Art seeks to forge impactful connections that uplift emerging creatives and transcend physical location. Vagabond Art creates conversations between artists and local businesses through events and exhibitions in order to break down barriers and provide widespread networks for artists in every career stage.
